Angelii Essay
Kirika was never a dreamer, she didn't see herself in the future, what she could make of herself; a job, family, or life she could hope for. Kirika is a sinner, and she knew this well herself. The job she did, the lives she taken, she knew this life didn't have a happy ending, so why did she pursue this path? All to find a true answer about herself. Kirika is an assassin, and a very good one. She lost her memories from her wake. So what could she find in this world that she couldn't find in her's? Did this place held any memories of her's? Why was she waken here?
She never was into cartoons or fantasy books. When she arrived in Nautilus, it was alien to her. By memory alone, she remained calm as ever. She explored, asked questions, anything to find a way to go home. She arrived on the first year unexpected, as if Nautilus was giving her a fresh start of the year, leave the past behind for now, explore new horizons, and maybe open up finally and be herself. One of the few people she met were Nita and the Tenth Doctor. Nita opened the possibility of science fiction with her magic as the Doctor opened her mind to information. Even though the experience began strange, Kirika didn't let it phase her.
Then came that special day on the thirteenth of Friday she carved in her memory. It was the day she met Chat Noir, a super hero from Paris. Not exactly from her Paris what she knew. The two talked, Chat talked about his world and life as Kirika asked questions and maybe told about herself. Even then, she wasn't sure if it was okay to share a little of her story as well. Just as Chat had 'black' in his name, so did Kirika. Kirika felt a small connection, but it was there, she didn't know why but she went what she felt. After she heard stories from Chat, she confessed about herself. Maybe she couldn't believe in heroes, or wanted to see what he thought. Maybe she wanted a hero in her story to save her from the depths of Hell. Yet, Kirika knew she couldn't be saved from her sins. Surprisingly, Chat Noir didn't smite her, but instead offered some wisdom. The most amazing thing about people was how much they could change.
Change. Was it possible? A person with no memory of them self? Even in this place? Her world didn't offer her this opportunity, it felt almost unbelievable to her, like, a long awaiting dream coming true.
After a month of being a resident, Kirika was offered a job from Adrien. She was asked to be a bodyguard for him. It was different from her previous job, so she took it. Her assassin skills wasn't needed at the time, and she wanted to explore something else. Kirika was curious, she wanted something different, even if it was only for a while. She went to the interview, and passed it. She moved into the mansion with the Agreste. Adrien welcomed her, not knowing much about her, to her knowledge. Kirika was grateful, and even saw him as a friend. It became more exciting when Adrien called her as a friend. There was also Spark, the talking orange cat. The three made memories together; happy, sad, awkward, anything. This was probably the only time she discovered friends and family, ever.
Whenever Adrien wanted to go out, he drag Kirika. Kirika didn't mind at all. She wanted to make him happy any way she could. When Adrien was happy, she smiled, when he was down, she frowned and worried. When he vanished well, it was over time. Kirika didn't know too much about him, or his super hero side. Then came the Valentines Day Storm. Kirika followed Adrien and Spark to help in any way with the cupid storm. It was then Kirika discovered Akumas. Kirika talked to a young man time to time, Jack. Jack was Akumatized at the time and Kirika was able to recognize him by his voice and the pocket watch he had. Kirika stalled him so Adrien and Spark could escape. She was affected by Jack's ability, unable to see the person she cared more. At the time, it was Chat Noir/Adrien. Later on, Kirika found Jack on the roof but couldn't see Chat Noir. When she aimed her shot to Jack, to kill him, Chat Noir jumped in. He was shot, and his screams scarred her. She almost killed someone that day, and someone she would had regretted. She learned her new friend valued life, even if the person was corrupted. Kirika was used to ending them, and Chat showed there were ways to save it.
Life was different from the world she came. Kirika was a quick learner with bending, she cooked and cleaned the mansion, followed Adrien where he wanted to travel, spoil Spark, and maybe pet some mutant rabbits and cats. It felt like a healthy life, weird, but healthy in a way. Then there were times she had to be there for Adrien. Adrien's life wasn't so healthy, his relationship with his father wasn't the best. Kirika had to be there for him, be his ears, maybe tried to offer some advice, offered encouraging words, let him know he wasn't alone. Kirika was slowly becoming dependable as a friend should.
Little by little Kirika began to open herself up to others, either Adrien helped or thanks to some storms. Almost anyone from the TARDIS were the first, along with Connie and Nita. Rose is like a mother and sister figure as Ten was more of a father. Kirika never had experience a family of her own so this was a new experience for her. She begins to realize the important of family and friends, even if she doesn't say too much about herself. Kirika will always be that quiet child when you least expect it. In one case, it happened with Dirk when he tried to sneak into the TARDIS. Kirika almost showed her true self until Connie intervene. Thankfully for her, Dirk was simply held up by two teenagers.
With each person Kirika invites to her life, the more she cherish them. She is grateful for the people she met and get dragged to. She doesn't ask much, only hang out and watch. Kirika is very overprotective.
